EKOS Communications

Ekos Communications Rick SearleI created EKOS Communications in 2005 as an outlet for my passion and expertise in the fields of environmental education, natural and cultural history interpretation and environmental communications. Prior to this, I provided the same services under my name (Rick Searle & Associates).

My work in these fields has spanned 45 years. During this time, I’ve been pleased to have assisted many organizations with a variety of communications, education and engagement projects.

For the past 3 years, I’ve been retained to assist the Friends of Shoal Harbour Sanctuary Society with a variety of communications and engagement activities aiming at raising awareness and participation in the Naturehood program coordinated by Nature Canada.

In addition to contract work, I’ve also completed a great many independent projects. My most recent short documentary, Wetlands Matter, was broadcast across Western Canada by Shaw TV and was shared on line by such organizations as Ducks Unlimited Canada,  the Oldman Watershed Council, and Lake Winnipeg Foundation.
