The mission of Earth Day is keenly felt this year, as COVID-19 has resulted in many cars being off the road, resulting in a dramatic reduction in global greenhouse gas emissions. Wildlife has been spotted in formerly busy urban areas and blue skies can be seen in cities normally choked with smog. Local green spaces and parks have become welcome refuges, with people connecting to nature with newfound appreciation.”
